This is a Novice only tournament (with one exception)*

Students are encouraged to double enter in 1 speech and 1 debate event.

*If you have a student that has never participated in Policy before, and wants to try it out, they are welcome to sign up and compete, regardless of their individual status (varsity/novice). Just keep in mind that Policy runs constantly during the tournament, so if a Varsity student participates in Policy, they won't be able to act as a judge for your school.

**Students competing in Policy or Congress may NOT double enter in any other event due to them running through both debate and speech rounds

With 3 sessions of congress, the goal is to address the legislation in this order:

Session 1:

B: Repeal the USA Patriot Act

R: Abolish the Death Penalty

Session 2

B: Increase the Amount of Judges Managing the Immigration Process

R: Reaffirm the Importance of Unbiased International Aid

B: Ensure Student Health by Starting School Hours at Later Times

Session 3

B: Limit Contributions to SuperPACs

R: Leave NATO
